There are many perks to living in the Wright & Wagner Lofts, but one of our favorites is the location. You’re right in the heart of downtown Beloit, living among the best entertainment, food and drink the city has to offer.
We rounded up our top five favorite things to do within walking distance of the lofts. Check them out.
The Beloit Farmers’ Market is an award-winning community event that has drawn in thousands of annual guests since 1974. Located just a block away from the lofts on State St and Grand Ave, locals and visitors alike can peruse aisles of artisan cheeses, fresh flowers, a wide variety of produce and much, much more every Saturday from May to October.
Downtown Beloit Stadium
Coming soon to downtown Beloit, this riverside ballpark is the future home to Beloit’s baseball team and will serve as a year-round community facility, providing youth, educational and cultural events, in addition to hosting games.
Into fitness or looking for a place to get started? The Stateline YMCA is the perfect place for all types of exercise. Complete with an indoor track and pool, the gym provides weightlifting and cardio equipment, basketball courts, an extensive group exercise program, and personal training programming.
Beloit’s Best Food and Drink
One of the best parts of living in downtown Beloit is being close to incredible restaurants. You’re only a short walk to get tacos and margaritas from truk’t, burgers and Wisconsin tap brews from Lucy’s #7 Burger Bar, Italian and wine from Velvet Buffalo, bagels and sandwiches from Bagels & More, local groceries from Bushel & Peck’s, and coffee from Blue Collar Coffee Co.–just to name a few.
Riverside Corridor Bike/Walking Trail
When you want to go for a walk or bike ride outside, take to the Riverside Corridor. It’s a nine-mile paved loop that runs along the banks of the Rock River and leads to Riverside Park, where you can enjoy tennis courts, picnic shelters and fishing.
